How is it made? An inquiry on the Art

Same as you might wonder about any art's creation, how the art is made on Reduct Form is unique.

All the artwork is hand illustrated, pen on paper. Sketched in pencil first, inked, pencil erased, and inked again for darkening and refining the lines.

Next, the illustration is captured in a simple and effective way. Using a phone app, a photo is taken then the app recognizes what is a drawn line and what is paper. From there, the lines are converted into digital lines and shapes helpful for editing (though little to no editing is done to the original illustration).

This is the 'how' our illustrations look so crisp and high contrast. The quality of this analog to digital conversion also makes scaling for various prints a breeze, never compromising the illustration.
